An active task and allowed notifications are different requirements. Review them separately.
Check the task in the app
Is the correct plant selected and the relevant task active? Review its scheduled time and your plan allowance. Care tasks are available with Plus or Pro. An earlier scan does not automatically create every reminder you might want.
Allow iPhone notifications
Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → PlantDoctor and review Allow Notifications. Also check the display styles and sounds you selected. A notification may appear in Notification Centre without making a sound.
Consider Focus and summaries
Check whether an active Focus or scheduled notification summary affects display. Change only settings whose purpose you understand. Apple explains the available options in the iPhone guide. This website cannot read your device settings.
Give support a specific example
If nothing appears, record the task, its scheduled time and what you actually saw. Include app and iOS versions. Mention whether other PlantDoctor notifications arrive. That separates display and task issues more clearly than “no reminders”.
Separate no sound from no notification
Check whether no notice exists or you simply heard no sound. Notification Centre, selected presentation and Focus may lead to different observations. Record what you inspected; the website cannot read these settings. A visible silent notice differs from a task with no notice. Current Apple options and concrete observations are the basis rather than assuming every missing sound means a server-side delivery failure. The distinction also helps explain the issue without changing settings that were already working as intended.
Describe task and expected time together
A useful report connects plant, scheduled time, active task and actual device observation. Include app and iOS versions and whether other notices arrive. Avoid images full of unrelated personal messages. Change a Focus only when its purpose is understood. After a change, record the new comparison. One later notification confirms that particular check rather than every task, every device or an already published fix. Give support the exact boundary of what you saw instead of generalising from one example.
Your quick check
- Correct plant and active task?
- Scheduled time checked?
- PlantDoctor notifications allowed?
- Focus, display and summary settings reviewed?
Common questions about this topic
Must I allow notifications?
You control the iPhone permission. Without permission, the app cannot show normal system notifications.
Should I water at every reminder?
No. Check moisture and plant condition first.
